Do multi gyms work?
This depends on the goals of the user, but the right home Multi Gym will be good at burning fat, building muscle and getting the cardio system working (although this isn’t the main aim of a Multi Gym). With the right routine and technique you can expect to see physical improvements.
Are home multi gyms worth it?
Again this depends on your situation. If you have an expensive gym membership or a big drive to your local gym, maybe you have to wait to use the right equipment… A home setup can save time and money. The average gym cost in the UK is £40 per month, or £480 per year. A good branded multi gym can be bought for about £400. A home setup is great for those isolating or cautious about Covid 19 and any local restrictions.
What is the best multi gym to buy?
This is a question we aim to try to answer! Marcy and York have great mid range multi gyms, there are lower priced machines, some recommended, some not. If money isn’t an issue, there are some stunning machines that are far better than those found in the gym.
Is it worth getting a more expensive multi gym?
The biggest limiting factor when looking at a home setup is the maximum amount of weight the gym has. While you can increase the weight on some machines, it’s not always safe or recommended. The best option is to buy the machine with the heaviest weights you can afford and this will be less of a limiting factor as you get more comfortable with the weights. If you are more interested in toning than building muscle then this will be less of an issue.
Is it safe to put multi gym in upstairs room?
As long as there is level and stable space for the machine itself it will be fine.
